Parrot And The Cage

I always believe to give the due to those who deserve it, it’s not possible to learn each and everything on its own that’s why you need people in life who can add value to your life, I try to learn as much as possible from others so whenever I learn something from others and that part of learning is shared in my articles than its my responsibility to return the due to that person, in my previous  articles I talked about two of my close friends Bhaskar and Nitin, now it’s time to return the due that I owe to my third friend “Anupriya”, last week I got a call from her and while talking to her I found that something is disturbing her, so when I insisted her to tell me the problem so she said that her mother bought a parrot from her relative and she is sad that the parrot is inside the cage, even though God has given wings to parrot so that it can fly but we humans have taken away the freedom of the birds. The only suggestion that I gave to her was to open the cage but that was not possible as the parrot belong to someone else. After the conversation one thing that came to my mind is the Humans and the Freedom, so again called my friend and asked her,

Jatin- Anu tell me one thing, you are worried that we humans are responsible for taking away the freedom of the birds but what if the bird itself does not want to fly and lock itself inside the cage

Anu- How can that be possible? Why anyone does not want to fly when they have the potential to fly?
Jatin- Then why don’t you try to fly?

Anu- What Rubbish, how can I fly without the wings?

Jatin- Yes you can, you can fly through your dreams, through your success, create a world where the outer world does not matter, where you know what you are doing is right, be true to yourself and all this will help you in flying, remove the word impossible from your life, and start giving efforts.

Anu- It’s easy to say

Jatin- No, not at all. Just because birds have wings which everyone can see that means they can fly and we humans does not have wings so we can’t, it’s just the mind game, why there is a need to limit our self because you never know what your potential is, it’s just that we humans gets satisfied so soon that we never know our real potential. Tell me are you doing your dream job or working for the job that you always wanted to do?

Anu- No because I never got it

Jatin- No that’s not the reason rather once you got the job which was not your dream job you stopped putting efforts from your dream job because that requires extra efforts, that requires taking our self out of our comfort zones,  I feel accepting the circumstances as it is putting yourself inside the cage. I am getting 30k from the company and that’s enough for me, my company will promote me at regular interval that gives me fake satisfaction but inside my heart I know what I am capable of and what I am doing, isn’t that mean putting yourself inside the cage and locking the door? And it’s not applicable to my occupation rather it applies to each and every thing that I wanted to do but all the time wait for that opportunity but which never came or will never come.

Anu– Yes I can understand, most of us are doing this because we never get what we want that’s why we are forced to do what we get.

Jatin- You know I belong to a middle class family and one thing which is common among all the middle class people is that they never allow their children to see big dreams, they all are so happy with what they get, tell me what will happen if we try to fly, the worst could be that we will fall but the satisfaction that at least we tried to fly is far more than the injury we get once we fall. Once we stop putting efforts for our own progress and gets dependent on others is the time when we lock our self inside the cage, don’t let your dreams die, keep them alive because it’s the dreams which will provide you wings one day.

Anu– Agree, it seems nice topic to me, want to talk to you in detail regarding my dreams and their achievement, let’s catch up on Sunday evening for dinner.

Jatin– Sure, don’t lock yourself inside the cage, speak out loud, talk about your dreams, fly high and at last I want to say one thing

Dream Big

Big Dreams brings Suffocation

Suffocation makes life difficult

Difficult life brings efforts

Efforts brings results

And results makes life easy

Meeting Life- An Eye Opening Experience

(Let’s understand the concept first; it has three factors BODY, SOUL and THE GOD, Body belongs to the earth whereas soul and the God belongs to the heaven, for better understanding assume there is a very big organization where the God is the boss so his work is to basically see the financial figures, God is bother about the end result, he wants the good work to be done at any cost otherwise he will punish the workers, Soul is the worker who works under the GOD on the other hand body(Human being) is responsible for executing the work, now as it happens in any recruiting process of the organization Soul is directly responsible for recruiting the good bodies so that the work can be done, so from a given lot of bodies provided by the God, soul has to make a decision in which body he wants to live, once the soul picks the body, the body gets the life and is send to the earth to do some good work, if the body does not do the good work the soul will get punished from the God. At the end if the good work is not done then next time when the soul has to choose the body, at that time worst lot of bodies will be provided to the soul to pick up and live for next 60-70 years. So it’s a complete circle, God keeps the records, Soul wants the good work to be done and the body is the medium through which good work can be done, so given below is a conversation between the soul and the body in which soul has come to talk about the work that the body has executed till now and its consequences.)

Rajender enters one of the costliest bakery shops in the town

Rajender- Good Morning
Shopkeeper- Good Morning, How you are doing today?
Rajender- I am doing great, I am very happy today, you know one of the important person is coming to meet me; I am so excited to meet him, that’s why I want you to show me the best bakery products of your shop, the person is so important that money does not matter.

Shopkeeper- that’s really good Sir, come this side, I will show you the premium segment of my bakery shop.
After half an hour a satisfied man left the shop, satisfied in the sense that he bought one of the best materials from one of the best shop. After reaching home Rajender took a bath, wore the best suit from his wardrobe and sits comfortably in the drawing room. He is excited, framing different questions in the brain that he wants to ask, sometimes smiling and sometimes serious, in the meanwhile the doorbell rings. Rajender runs towards the door and opens the door.

Rajender- Hello, I was waiting for you since morning, so excited to see you.
Life- Why excited? I am your life, your part, you can meet me any time any day but you are so busy in the material things, so busy in running and keeping yourself busy that you never find the time to meet yourself and ultimately you gave your life a formal invitation to meet you over a cup of coffee. Isn’t it great?
Rajender- so anoid on me, at least say a good hello, than we can talk on these matters.
Life- Yes I am very anoid, how it feels to call a person over a cup of coffee when the same person is living in your house but you hardly get time to meet him because you never wanted to slow down your life to say hello, you are just running, running and for a change what you do is to run a little more.
Rajender- Ok, come inside, I have bought something special for you.

After this Rajender and his life went inside and sit along with his life on a comfortable sofa to have a word.

Rajender- So now tell and please don’t start complaining, I have lot of expectations from you, so can we sit and talk like friends.
Life- Ok, I don’t have any problem, but the pain you gave to your soul, to your inner peace and life that thing hurts a lot, I can’t promise but I will try to be calm throughout this session.
Rajender- what? I don’t have any knowledge what you are talking about, but let’s change the topic, I bought something for you, let me bring that, give me five minutes.
Life- Sure, take your time, till than I will frame the questions that I need to ask from you
Rajender- Questions? Why? I don’t want it to be a self-actualization meeting, I know whatever I am doing is perfect in my eyes.
Life- Oh yeah! Who told you that? Don’t act like a victim who files the case in the court, than fight his own case than finally gives the verdict, if you have already decided than I believe there is no point in having this meeting, you believe you are happy but you don’t want to listen what your life is trying to say, so bye than.
Rajender- (Smiling), I believe you have prepared your case very well, so I surrender, we can talk on this over a cup of tea
After that Rajender went in the kitchen and came back after five minutes with tea and other stuff.

Rajender- Here I am again, I believe we can start the confession session now.
Life- No confession session, I am here to talk about those things that gave pain to your life, things that your life never wanted you to do but you still did, do you know back there in heaven it depends on the soul to choose and pick the body with which the soul is going to spend the next 60-70 years. But now I feel I took a wrong decision by selecting your body to live, I had certain expectations from you but you did exactly opposite of that.
Rajender- I am not at all understanding what you talking about, what mistakes, what pain, I did what I felt was right at any point of time, by the way I bought the most expensive snacks for you, let’s have it.
Life- Why the most expensive Snacks?
Rajender- Because you are my life and I want to give you the best.
Life- WOW (Smiling), ME, MYSELF and MYSELF
Rajender- I didn’t get you, what exactly you are trying to say
Life- You understands everything, but as usual you just don’t want to focus on real things, I am talking about your selfish nature.
Rajender- selfish? Who? Me?
Life- yes, answer me, how many bucks you need to lead a good life, how much money you want to save, you have misunderstood the concept that everything is money but the real fun is in Sharing. How many times have you shared food, money and life with not so fortunate people, can you understand it is not their fault that they were born poor and it is not your fortune that you were provided the opportunities, it is the soul who has to select the body and it is the soul whose life you live, you know unlike you humans, we soul lives together, we all are one, so whenever a soul gets punished then he/she does not get the best bodies to choose from, so its other souls responsibility to help them once we get the birth. Now you tell me how can we help the not so fortunate souls?
Rajender- How?
Life-it’s through you only, you need to help others, but you are so busy in your so called high profile and standard life that you forget the purpose of life, at the end life is zero, start helping others, you will find internal happiness, you eat at high standard and posh restaurants, tell me how many days that happiness remains with you? May be for hours, give some money or food to someone then see for how many hours happiness is there with you.
Rajender- You want me to distribute all my wealth?
Life- No, I want you to make an effort that’s why I asked you how much money you need to have a good life, common you also know that you can do it, I believe it’s your responsibility, remember SHARE is the word.
Rajender- Ok, I will see what I can do, that’s it or you have more complaints?
Life- I have just started, long list you know, let’s talk about DREAMS
Rajender- Yeah, even I want to talk about it, why you don’t tell the GOD to fulfill all my dreams?
Life- But why should God fulfill all your dreams?
Rajender- Because I have been told so since my childhood that whenever you need something, get in a queue and ask from the GOD
Life- Have you ever made efforts to chase your dreams?
Rajender-Many times
Life-Than why you are not chasing your dreams now?
Rajender- Because I lost so many times that I stopped chasing them.
Life- Than don’t beg from God to fulfill your dreams when you yourself are not faithful to your dreams, why you see such dreams when you know after sometimes you are going to give up by satisfying your brain that those dreams are unchaseable?
Rajender- I chased them many times, but was not able to fulfill them
Life- Have you heard this line that “whenever you want to make you God happy just narrate him your dreams”, it’s through us that God came to know about your dreams, even I communicated your dreams to the lord but after sometimes I found that you are not the person who is crazy about your dreams, who is willing to do anything to fulfill them, can sacrifice anything, can go to any limit but what you are best at is forgetting your dreams and saying does not matter, tomorrow I will see a new dream. I am not saying to go for the result or concentrate on the result what I am trying to say is to chase your dreams, don’t embarrass me in front of the God by making big promises at first place and then breaking such promises, start living your dreams even if you will not be able to achieve it, one day you will get satisfaction that you stayed with your wildest dream forever, you made an honest efforts to fulfill it, remember life is going to pass in any which way so why not to live it by making efforts to fulfill your dreams, EFFORTS is the word my child.
Rajender- I can understand that, it’s easy to speak big-big words in front of others but it’s difficult to follow, I will start living with my dreams.
Life- Unless and until your brain starts manipulating the things.
Rajender- What do you mean by that?
Life- Bring harmony in your heart and brain, you know there is a heart who knows the things better than the brain, heart knows the reality but it’s the brain which manipulates the things, whenever you fail to chase your dreams, your heart will tell you that it’s time to start fresh but your brain will search for comforts, it’s easy to follow the bad practice because bad things always give pleasure, but before indulging yourself in such an activity ask your heart, your heart will give you the honest reply but whenever your brain is involved than it will search for easy things by giving you reasons, mind always manipulates, bring harmony in both, that will give you ultimate happiness, talk to your heart, give some time to your life, life is all about INTERNAL HAPPINESS and not about running, think about it “
Rajender- I will certainly do that

Suddenly the ring bells, it is the alarm clock, Rajender switches off the alarm and went into a deep thought about the dream that he saw few in his dreams about “MEETING LIFE”.

FAILURES IN LIFE- WHETHER TO LEARN OR TO QUIT?

Nothing happens by chance, if we go by this theory then there must be some reasons for writing this article, yes there are, sometimes it’s personal and sometimes it’s social. I always think that can I motivate someone, don’t know because motivation is a relative concept, I always think why I need someone from outside to motivate me, it’s my life, if I will do something good then it’s going to make my life better only, anyways I always try to inspire others by bringing stories of those strugglers who became successful and if they can do then anyone can do but whether they actually get motivated or not is not in my hand because motivation is not only listening but to act.

I never met a person in my life, to whom failures never happened, but the thing which is of utmost importance is the way these failures are taken by as every failure results into two ways-

1) To learn from the failure and prepare yourself again
2) And the easy way is to ‘QUIT’
I met a person during an Interview and after giving him a brief introduction of myself, I asked him about his educational background, gently he said
1) B.Com (H) (First class)
2) Post Graduate in Commerce
3) UGC NET
4) Chartered Financial Analyst
5) Post Graduate in Finance
6) Post graduation in Accounts and Taxation
7) Post graduation in Secretarial Practices (Compliances and all)
8) Post Graduate in Management.
9) He wrote Poems and Articles and was excited about to print a book in the near future; he also talked about his future plans, future projects and education

And After listening to this much I was like wooohhh and started thinking about my chances for the job but suddenly I was more interested in his life, to know whether he is lying or actually have these much of degrees, how he achieved this, so to start with I asked him about his age
“26”, he said
So how you manage to hold these much of degrees at such an age?
He started laughing
I didn’t understood the reason behind his smile
He continued, “It’s the human tendency and nature to see the castle but never to see the efforts, struggle, sleepless nights, shattered dreams, failures and sacrifices that a person make to built that castle,”
“People always see the colour of the grass on other side but how many are actually willing to put up efforts to make that grass green”

I didn’t understood in what contrast he was talking about but I find him quite interesting
He further continued
Passed out from university in 07 with a first class degree

YEAR 2008

ü Tried for MBA in 08
(but didn’t cleared any MBA exam, thought to quit the dream of doing MBA, but quitting is not my cup of tea so decided to try it next year)

ü Father lost his kidneys and was on dialysis
(the biggest failure in my life which start the journey of my struggle of taking him to the hospital for dialysis, to see my father crying in front of me, to see him dying day by day but this period also formed an attitude in me that never ever to quit)

ü Tried for first level of Post Graduate course of Accounts and Taxation
(But someone leaked the paper so had to give the exam again)

ü Again gave First level Exam
(but this time I failed the exam decided to quit as I was more interested in doing MBA but again a question came, “do you really want to tag yourself as a failure? NO, so decided to give the exam again)

ü Third time lucky
(Finally I made it to the next level in the third attempt, it was a relaxed feeling that at least I have proved myself by not quitting and suddenly the confidence increases.)

ü Started CFA in 08 and cleared first two level
(Confidence my sky high, now can achieve anything but something other was in store)

YEAR 2009

ü Lost my father at the start of 09
(something that can never ever be replaced, apart from personal struggle this marks the beginning of financial struggle as well as responsibility of the family on my shoulders)

ü Tried for MBA in 09
(again didn’t cleared any MBA exam, thought to quit the dream of doing MBA, but quitting is not my cup of tea so decided to again try it next year)

ü Failed next level of CFA
(After my father’s death, I failed the third level of CFA, but somehow was able to clear in the next level)

ü Dilemma
(Nothing was happening at that time, every relative was putting pressure on me to quit studies and start earning, but somewhere down the line, I trusted my intuitions that it is the testing time, so don’t quit, keep on struggling, so I decided to continue my studies)

YEAR 2010

ü MBA exam cleared
(was able to cleared the MBA exam but financial position didn’t allowed me to opt for MBA neither I wanted to put pressure on my mother for money, so decided to postpone it for next year but not to drop the dream of doing MBA)

ü Failed second level of Post graduation course of Accounts and Taxation
(lol, you must be thinking that have I ever done anything apart from Failing, but I am telling you whatever happened in my life, again I decided to prepare again for the exam but not to quit)

ü Failed 4th level of cfa
(oooh ghosh, no words to explain)
Later 2010 and YEAR 2011 ( the year of positive results)
ü MBA Admission
( finally took admission in MBA)

ü Cleared CFA and post graduation in Commerce
(Finally cleared CFA and post graduation in Commerce)

ü Cleared second level of Post Graduation of Accounts and taxation
(Finally cleared the second level)

And life is still going on, and this is how I achieved what I am today
I narrated you my story not to gain any sympathy, I seriously hate that, I know there were many ups and downs in my life but what the best thing I did was not to quit and whenever the life gave me a blow, I tried to fight back.
I also know that this is not the end of my struggles, life ends but struggle never, I am a believer that life is a bitch that’s going to bite everyone, if today is my turn then may be tomorrow it’s yours, but what is more important is how we manage and handle these failures, trust me friend whatever happens, happens for a reason, may be today we don’t know the reason but in future we will realise the reason for failure and will be able to correlate, every failure teaches you something, it is up to us whether we actually want to learn or not because most of us quit after the failures.

Suddenly his name was called for the interview
Ok, brother, got to go, it was nice talking to you, hope that my little strugglful yet not to quit life story will make an impact on your life and will motivate and whenever you want to quit after a failure just think about me that if that guy without any resources and with so many failures can do then why can’t I? We never realise the real potential within us, keep on fighting, never ever quit because

WINNERS NEVER QUIT AND QUITTERS NEVER WINS

A FATHER’S PLEA

(Situation- A father is on his death bed, counting his last few breaths, he is blind, his kidneys are not working, heart is not pumping enough blood, at this moment he was consoling his child that life and death are two sides of a coin and be brave enough to face his father’s death who will leave them physically but will be by their side forever)

O My Child
I Am Leaving For a While
Close Your Eyes
And Say Goodbye
I May Not Be Present In Front of Your Eyes
But My Soul Is Always On Your Side

I Am Blind
God Is Not So Kind
All Around Is Darkness
Where Are MY Children
I Can’t Find
I Miss Their Smile
But I Am Leaving For a While

My Heart Says It’s Time To go
Kidney’s Says It’s Time To Fall
Legs Are Not Taking MY Weight
What Are You Doing On The Earth
When The GOD Has Open The Gate
That’s Why I Am Leaving You For a While

I Know It’s Not the Right Time to Go
But One Who Is Born Has To Go
Listen Carefully Then I’ll Go
Take Care Of Your Sister Give The Best To Your Mother
Give Your Best
So That When We Will Meet
I’ll Give You a Treat
That’s Why I Am Leaving You For a While

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED CONTINUOUS UP GRADATION

While writing this I thought that there are many books available in the market giving suggestions and their point of views regarding the managers, how managers think, what makes a manager a manager, their style of working and moreover all these books are written by well known persons having lots of experience in the related field

I seriously think no one can become a manager by reading a book because it requires continuous practice but one can judge whether one is doing the right things or not, one can encourage himself, can motivate as well as can compare the progress.. While doing my PGPM I felt a need to analyse and write this because there I felt that after taking the admission in to a MBA institute students get so relaxed because there is a kind of feeling in them that in any way they are going to be accepted by the market because they have a MBA degree. That’s why there are very less number of managers who have make their mark in the world, learning the skills of a successful manager is not a one time activity rather it’s a continuous activity and continuous learning. So while doing PGPM certain questions came to my mind

1) Can a piece of paper make you a manager?
2) Does taking admission in a college is enough?
3) Is the knowledge that one gain from the book is sufficient?
4) Whether we need to follow others or should have our own style of working?
5) How much an institute can help me to become a manager?

There are many other things on which I would like to talk and will continue to talk in future but today I wrote this article specially to talk about the word “EXPERIENCE”,
I still know during my grown up days one word that I used to hate was the word “EXPERIENCE”, whenever the word “EXPERIENCE” was used few things always came to my mind regarding the so called   “EXPERIENCED” person using that; I always felt that he wanted to say

1) I know better then you even if it is wrong(with attitude),

2) I don’t want to change because I have experience

3) I have difficulties in changing myself and to learn new things and skills and then to relearn something which is better then what I know because I have experience.

I always tried to find answers to these questions but never really got the answer, now the questions has changed and I want to ask these questions from everyone who is reading this;

1) What is the guarantee that the conditions prevailing during the time in which one has experience is still prevailing as the time is changing specially the conditions in which an organisation operates?;

2) What is the guarantee that the solution given by you at that time was the best solution?

3) How do you know that I don’t have a better solution than your experience?
 I still remembered a very interested incidence which happened during my college days, there was an argument between me and my uncle who said that he has experience in taxation and accounts, the incidence was there was a change in the filing of income tax return, I was telling the dates but my uncle was not listening to me and was saying that now return has to be filed every month and I suddenly thought that how can it be possible,people face difficulties in filing the return once in a year and moreover the government will face a lot of difficulty if individuals start filling returns monthly but then suddenly a question came which stopped me from presenting my facts;

Uncle: “WHAT IS YOUR AGE”
Me:      “21”
Uncle: I have experience in this filed which is more than your age so you should better check your facts and then argue
Of course I lose argument at that time but I knew that I was right that’s why I hate the word “EXPERIENCE”, I respect you that you have experience in the field but that doesn’t mean that I am no one and whatever argument I am making is irrelevant so this was all about the word “EXPERIENCE”,I am not saying that “EXPERIENCE” is nothing, I also respect the seniors and elders but ‘EXPERIENCE” will help you if one is upgrading himself/herself according to the time, today things are changing so fast that the very next moment your knowledge becomes outdated so it requires continuous up gradation, “EXPERIENCE” with upgraded knowledge is like icing on the cake, it’s you who has to make efforts so that the world should respect you, “EXPERIENCE” is like catching a fish(how to catch a fish, what tact’s and skills you required, what equipment you required) and knowledge is like to catch the fish at the right place where fish’s are found(you may be trying to catch a fish at the area where there are no fishes)’ Experience provides you stability while Knowledge provide you direction, but I will give more marks to knowledge because with the passing of time you can have experience but knowledge requires eagerness to learn, patience, dedication and ability to express, so go for the knowledge and with time, the combination of knowledge and experience will make you a better manager and a better leader. At the end I want to say never accept the facts as given, make your judgement, argue over the facts, and come at your own conclusions.

SOCIAL GATHERINGS: COMPLETE ENTERTAINMENT FROM A DIFFERENT ANGLE

Variety is the spice of life, we all get bored when we continuously read the same kind of stuff, yes I want to motivate people, want to be a person with whom people should forget their worries and there should be a kind of positivity in them and on the other hand to be honest I also want to make my blog as a platform wherein we can discuss anything with a touch of imagination, dreams, humour, out of box thinking, discussions, point of views, a page which belongs to all of us.

So keeping this point of view in mind, through this article I tried to find out‘why social gatherings are hated so much’ and ‘what should be done in this unavoidable circumstances with a touch of humour?’
God knows why but I am very hesitant in going to the social gatherings especially family get together (marriages), and there are various specific reasons behind this, let me quote few of them

1) You meet those people over there whom you never met or met once or twice in your whole life or don’t even know that they actually exist and there is also a surety that you will not meet them again but they meet you like they know you from years and are regularly in touch with you, but the problem with my kind of a guy who is reserved is how to deal with them because you don’t have anything to say and I call them “THE BLUE MOONERS”.

How to identify them – It’s very easy to identify them because you actually don’t know them, so whenever you meet someone for the first time who is your relative that person belongs to this category.

2) Then there exist a second kind of category and I call them “THE ANOIDERS”, it is very difficult to satisfy these kinds of people and they usually find faults even in perfections, you know like

ü Decoration is not good

ü Food is not good

ü I don’t like the venue

ü No parking space

And trust me these are the people who make maximum of their visit by trying each and everything whether its food, place or people but has a habit of putting a question mark in everything, common the father of the bride has spend millions in his daughter’s marriage and if you have so much of problem then don’t attend the function.

How to identify them– Person who does not sit at one place and go to different people complaining about things with a kind of look on his face that he is a detective and doing his investigations.

3) There is also a typical category that exists in these social gatherings, I call them “THE QUESTION MARK”,why question mark because god knows from where they think about questions but they have questions on every topic, the most irritating thing about them is the in build radar in their body through which they catch the signals and it does not matter how much efforts you put in to avoid them, they always finds you, stands by you and irritates you by their silly questions and the most common question they ask is

“KISKE BACHE HO”

“KAHA REHTE HO”
“KAUN SI CLASS MEIN PADHTE HO”

How to identify them– People with most mismatch of colours when it comes to clothes and trust me their eyes speak that they have some questions for you.

4)The next category is also an important category, the category of “THE EXPERTS”, these are the people who always have expert opinion about everything and generally attend the function just give or to form an opinion, these kinds of people are found in the first row, watching everything carefully and giving their comments continuously-

ü Groom is better than the Bride

ü I don’t like the Bride’s makeup, I suggested the parlour but she has opted to do the makeup from some other place

ü What’s the occupation of the Groom, oh I would have searched a better groom for the Bride

Common it’s their marriage; they know what’s best for them and who needs the expert comments.

How to identify them– People who give ignorant look as if it does not matter what is happening in the marriage but go from place to place to give their point of views.

5) Next the most important category, “THE FREEBIES”, these people are not interested in the food nor in the marriage but they specially attend the marriage to have access to free supply of alcohol. I personally know many people and have many friends whose first question whenever he receive an invitation is

“Will they serve alcohol over there? If yes then I am in otherwise I have important work to do.”

How to identify them– You will never find this kind of people in the wedding, they can be found around cars or outside the tents and once they are drunk, you can find them on dj floor, whatever may be but they are the ultimate source of entertainment.
Part 2/2

6) Then comes the another category, the category of “THE ROYALS”, you know the people who like to be treated as kings and queens, they don’t sit with anyone, they require all the facility to be at the place where they are sitting as if they are at a five star hotel and not in a social gathering. You can easily identify these kind of people by the clothes they wear and the typical expression on their face that their standard is high and they have given a big favour to all those who attended the party by being a part of it.

How to identify them-You can find these kinds of people sitting in the first row giving sophisticated looks on their face.

7) Now it’s time to introduce a special category of women, I called them “THE GOSSIPERS” because the only purpose for these women to attend the social gatherings is to do gossiping, give them a moment and they will forget that they are actually in a function and discuss everything except about the function which they attend. They meet like sisters who were lost and suddenly found each other and the best thing about this group is the way it is formed and grow within minutes including those women also which are not known faces but are interested in the topic.

How to identify them– Woman in groups with lots of hand movements and aggression on their faces represent this group.

8) Next category is the category of “THE SHOOTING STAR”,these people are so fond of photographs that you can easily find them in almost every second photo of the marriage album that people sometimes mistakenly call them as bride or groom, and then suddenly the question comes
“WHOSE MARRIAGE IS THIS?”
And the best thing is usually this kind of characters wear such colour of clothes (let’s call that alien colours of clothes oops sorry even aliens will be scared off wearing such kind of clothes) that it enhances the value of the photograph million times and sometimes you feel to say

‘Auntyji ek photo te kali vi le len dio, uthe jao uncleji bula rahe ne’

How to identify them– These kinds of people are generally found on the stage or around the bride and groom.

9) “Yaar shaadi ka khana khaye hue bahut time ho gya, pta nai koi card kab ayega”.
I hope you people are able to recognize the next category, no points in guessing, yes this one is the category which I call the category of ‘THE FOODIES’, this category knows everything about the food and they are generally found advising people

‘Shahi paneer try karo, acha baneya hai’

‘Non veg try na karo, meat purana lagda hai’

‘Ice cream chado, moong dal da halwa try karo’

‘Ki yaar tussi vi, dasso dal makhni nai khadi tusi’

I also accept that many times many sole purpose of attending the marriage is to have a change in life as far as food is concerned; you never get such a variety of food at such a cost.

How to identify them- very easy to identify them, the common face on every stall plus they are so busy in eating that sometimes the food instead of going in to their mouth goes on to their clothes.

10) Now we finally comes to our last category, It’s my habit to send my articles to close friends to check it once whether whatever I have written make sense or not, when I mailed this article to one of my friend, his reply was

‘yaar woh wali category kaha hai jo logo(for boys, its girls, and for girls, its boys) ko dekhne jaati hai, woh bhi daal na.

Yes my buuooy, ur wish is like a command for me, here is that category, category of
‘THE ENTERTAINERS’, apart from food this category is also very famous one, dil laga rehta hai, of course in the party. All the ‘sexy ladies on the floor’ knows how to impress that’s why they never feel cold in winters when all others hide their bodies with a thick layers of clothes( god knows how, may be due to this attitude, ‘acha dikhna hai toh bas dikhna hai, sardi bhi mera kuch nai bigaad skti, chahe baad mein doctor ko dikhana pade).

How to identify them- Common in this also you need my comments as how to identify them. Go and make your own efforts.

That’s all from my side; there can be many more categories, so you all should explore more which will makes you busy even in boring parties.

Keep on sharing, Keep on growing and Keep on smiling.

WOMEN: NEED RESPECT NOT RESERVATION

Recently read an article that someone is forming a party named as AAM AADMI PARTY (AAP), the writer of the article was of the view that instead of AAM AADMI PARTY, it should be AAM AURAT PARTY (AAP), and it’s time that we should not underestimate the women power and should be provided opportunities but not in terms of reservation (I am not in favour of any kind of reservation as it is a kind of favour to the weaker class, and I genuinely feel that women is not a weaker class rather they need to stand up for their rights)

The impact of the Women power can be accessed from the recently held Presidential election in the US where in Mr. Barack Obama comes to power due to almost 55% of the women voting in favour of him. That’s Women Power. I know some of you might be thinking that what Jatin is talking about is utter rubbish, it’s the 21st century and look at me (particular girl), the kind of life I am living with all the facilities, but maybe we have narrowed our thinking to such a level that it only revolves around our self only

‘Meri life set hai mjhe dusro se kya lena’

Whenever the word ‘WOMEN EMPOWERMENT’ comes, the so called men class are so proud of them as if they have done any favour on women by providing them freedom, the opportunity of education, by providing them the chance to decide what they want to wear, what they want to eat and how they want to live. Yes, Yes everyone can take the names of Indra Nooyi, Chanda Kochchar, Kiran Shaw, Shikha Sharma, Naina Lal Kidwai, Sonia Gandhi, Sushma Swaraj and the list can continue for many more names but what we need to ask is
Are these few names representing the women class as whole in terms of WOMEN EMPOWERMENT?
We need to analyse this, once I also got a similar topic during a GD

Whether a woman should be career oriented or she is born to be a homemaker?

I don’t understand how every male becomes kung fu panda and say big big things about Women Empowerment during a GD as if he (every male) was directly responsible for providing this freedom to the women and they have fought a war for providing women with this opportunity where they can live the kind of life they wanted to and the name of the males should be taken with respect as a ‘Krantikari’. We never talk about men empowerment because they were always free to do what they wanted to and on the other hand women were dependent on men for the basic necessities of life, so practically as men were providing them the food, clothes and shelter they treated them as slave who were responsible for doing all the work of the house and the problem was that women also accepted this role happily. Yes the time is changing, more and more women are getting independent, they are getting out of their houses, also contributing towards the family income and I am glad that this is happening, but I have a problem with the speed of this transformation, even after more than 60 years of independence if we still have to talk about women empowerment then I think there is some serious issues which needs to be resolved.

We need to analyse Women Empowerment from two angles

1) Empowerment on an overall basis

2) Empowerment as compare to what

Empowerment on an overall basis
I live in a metropolitan city where women speak their mind, they are educated, independent and perfectly handling their personal as well as professional life. Here women class can be divided into two parts
1) The educated class and the problems faced by them.

When it comes to harassment whether it is physical, social or mental then it does not matter whether a woman is educated or not. What I feel is that the way to harass a woman is different when she is educated because she knows her right (even though she rarely use her rights) but it’s very easy to point finger at her character, to say bad things about her, we can compare this thing with the kind of rights a male have, I mean he can do anything, anytime but when it comes to woman then it’s very easy to raise questions. Still remember the episode of a programme ‘Satyamev Jayate’ in which it was shown how even the well educated women were harassed by their in-laws in which her husband was also a partner. That’s one kind of harassment.

2) The uneducated class and the problems faced by them.

We all know if a male is uneducated then it’s manageable but when a female is uneducated then it’s like hell for her specially if she belongs to a poor family. I have seen man beating his wife for no reasons, we never even tried to think the kind of life a below poverty line woman lives for the same reason as what I have to do with her life, I should better concentrate on mine. I can write many things about the women of this particular class but I think we all knows the kind of life they live if not then efforts should be made to know it at least once and they all around us.

Empowerment as compare to what

‘Mere ghar mein saare decision mere Dad hi lete hai and at the end woh jo kahe woi final hai’

We all have heard these lines many a times and there is no harm in this, I am also a believer that there should be one leader who should be competent enough to take decisions for the welfare of the family but the point what I am trying to make is that it does not matter whoever takes the decision but everyone should have the right to speak, decisions should not be imposed rather it should be taken after considering the point of view of everyone in the family. Why to go outside, it happened with my mother when she wanted to do something but could not because my father was not in favour of that. Yes, I am not talking about those lucky women who got this right, it’s good that you are fortunate but everyone is not. Another point is about the character about which I already wrote in the above paragraph. At the end of the day it’s very easy to put blame on women for anything. Recently heard a line

“UNFORTUNATELY” We live in a society that teaches women to be careful not to get “RAPED” instead of teaching men “NOT TO RAPE”….
